Latavious Williams the 17th best player in the nation for the high class of 2009. Has decided to forgo his freshman season at Memphis an turn Professionally in Europe. As of right now he's discussing contract negations with couple of European teams. Latavious William is a long-lank-skinny power forward who weighs about to 185lbs. (shit is weak if your going to try to be a Power-Foward in the next level). But ever since they changed the rule of directly going to the pros, now you have to be one year removed out of college and be at least 19-years old at the start of the NBA season. This has affected many high school players with great potential, recently Brandon Jennings tried this little experiment of going to play in Europe and skipping college and was proven to be a success by getting drafted 10th Overall to the Milwaukee Bucks in this past summer's NBA Draft. The Money is the main reason in this scenario. When you go to college you can't get paid, if you play basketball and thats all you for your life do and you exceptionally amazing at it than you don't need education at first, collect the money. you can always go back to school but never go back to the pros if you missed your chance. If i was the NBA commissioner I would uplift this stupid ban and new rule and change back to the old rule, if you're 18, you are an adult and have the right to do anything you want.
